Description
The WoodHeroes Viking Longship: Your adventure starts here! ⛵🌊
2023 we proudly present the highlight of the year: The Viking Longship!
With room for 12 brave rowers, a brave captain and other loyal crew, this ship is ready to conquer any waters. Thanks to the “tacking boom”, the longship sails even against the wind.
But that’s not all: the clever mast design allows the mast to be folded down, ideal for river cruising. And when night falls? The hoisted and folded sail serves as a protective shelter.
All this is historical: this ship was inspired by the “Skuldelev 2”, a Viking ship built in 1042 rediscovered by archaeologists. An original replica can be admired in the Viking Museum in Roskilde (Denmark). [Literature: Jan Bill, Welcome on Board! The Sea Stallion from Glendalough, Roskilde 2007].
A special highlight: open the deck planks and discover a hidden storage place for supplies. A real boon on long trips when your WoodHeroes can count on not running out of anything.
Experience the ultimate building and playing fun, dive into the world of the Vikings and start your own seafaring adventure with the WoodHeroes Longship! 🌟⚓🌲
By the way, especially here fathers have the same fun, as sons, and mommy is happy to have an unusual decoration in the living room, to which she is often addressed.
Sustainability is particularly close to WoodHeroes’ heart: all WoodHeroes products are
- sustainably produced
- 100% from European untreated wood
- naturally plastic free
- This also applies to all packaging!
